Customs of the Spring Festival
The Spring Festival is a traditional Chinese festival and also the most important one of the whole year. Through the evolvement of thousands of years, a series of customs are spreading far and wide.

There was a calligraphy show on January 22th, 2012. Our students attend this show and give us a great performance in the West Street. There are a reporter from CCTV channel to make a video about this show. Let’s follow this show to enjoy the Spring Festival.
The Yangshuo government prepares everything ready. Many performers are making a stage pose first.
The tables are so long that you can not see the end. So many lanterns are on the street.
A series of activities such as lion dancing, dragon lantern dancing, lantern festivals and temple fairs will be held for days. There are so many beautiful girls who wear the special folk clothes.

The Chinese people love to stick couplets on the Spring Festival, which are also written on red paper. People have hung the couplets after finishing writing.
Our students start to write down the Chinese characters on the red papers. From left to right,they are Hope, Isaac, Melissa, Anna. Patrick and Wilson are behind~
After writing calligraphy, the students are taking photos with a member of Chinese Association of Calligrapher.
