Chinese knot is the game show of the mathematical mystery .The complex has a graceful curve, but it can be reduced to the simple 2-D lines. It shows us the wisdom of ancient Chinese in one aspect.
Chinese knot is a kind of characteristic folk decorations of handicraft art. Appeared in ancient time, developed in Tang and Song Dynasty, and popularized in Ming and Qing Dynasty.
This traditional handmade folk is made of rope or string. It has many distinctive shapes and splendid colors. In Chinese language, there are two kinds of meaning: one is decoration, Second is the Unity, intimacy, good fortune, harmony.
On Wednesday, January 4th 2012, Omeida Chinese Academy had a Chinese knots class.
In that class, the students studied the development of the Chinese knots and learned how to make the chinese knots themselves.
First, our teacher Magic introduced the history about Chinese knots to the students.
And next, Magic with Wency show how to make the easy knot to everyone.

There were three foreign teachers from English department came to join us to learn Chinese knots. They are Jim, Ian and Nick.
