Our activities on Fishing Festival.
The 13th Yangshuo Fishing Festival was held in December 3, 2011. There were a lot of wonderful activities during this Fishing Festival. Among the activities, the Calligraphy Competition, Fireworks show, and Tug-of-war impressed us most.
Being invited by the Yangshuo Tourism Bureau, Omeida organized the students to take part in the activities.
Let’s start our trip!
Section 1
The Chinese Calligraphy Competition.
Omar was carefully writing Chinese characters.
Look! Their works are fantastic!! From Left to right, they are Louise, Anna, Gill and Omar. Even they come from different countries; they all enjoy the life in Omeida.

Fireworks show
Magic bought a balloon, Anna took pictures with her. So cute you are!
So many fireworks, so beautiful!
Section 3
In the competition between hotels in Yangshuo, our students Dannel, Julius, and Issacplayed the roles of tourists.
Isaac is from Ghana, and he is only 18 years old. Young boy did very well on the stage.
Section 4
Tug-of-war
Someone was taking a picture for Anna and Gill. They were the super stars now!
Wency is our good teacher, she took the bags for the students. You are so strong!
The rope is made by iron, it’s very big and long. See, You cannot find the end!
Our team is ready!
Finally, we won the second prize!!!
