Welcome Seattle Community Colleges Delegation to Omeida
On March 14th 2012, the Chancellor of Seattle Community Colleges, Dr. Jill Wakefield, visited Yangshuo Omeida Language College with the accompany of Dr. Andrea Insley, District Coordinator of International Programs.
Principal of Yangshuo Omeida Language College, Mr. Odar, on behalf of all staff members, showed them with warmest hospitality.
When talking about future partnership, Dr. Insley told us that their purpose is to find a partner or partners for their international programs. They plan to send their students to China for language study and/or cultural exchange. On completion of the program (s), the students will be awarded with college credits.
Mr. Odar expressed our willingness and idea to cooperate, and talked with them about the possibilities for future partnership in details.
Dr. Wakefield was deeply impressed by the beautiful scenery of Yangshuo, though it was her first time here. She thought Yangshuo is a very attractive town integrates Chinese and international cultures, and it will be very suitable for their students to come for study and exchange.
